On Monday Dr. Durant Abernethy will join the High Country Healthcare team as a specialist in both internal medicine and pediatrics. In addition to his dual specialty, Abernethy has Type 1 Diabetes and plans to help patients improve their management of the disease by drawing from his own experiences.
